You can reach Refuge Dondena by the motorway A5 Turin-Aosta. Leave the motorway at the tollgate of Pont-Saint-Martin (exit for Gressoney and Champorcher), take the national road until you come to Bard. Just after Bard, at the roundabout, turn left, cross the Dora Baltea river and go past the village of Hône. Follow the winding road along the Champorcher Valley until you get to Champorcher. Soon after the centre of the village, take the right turning for the Mont Avic Park and Miserin. Follow the road and keep driving along the dirt road. Leave the car at Dondena (mt. 2.100) and continue on foot to the refuge which you can already see from the parking space. In a fifteen minute walk you arrive at destination.

You can reach refuge Miserin from refuge Dondena walking along the royal road which leads to lake Miserin.
